Diesel-SHIELD -Background
- The chemical formulation which Diesel-SHIELD strictly complies with is in existence since the mid-1990s.
- This formulation, with small adaptions, is being used worldwide.
- Diesel treated with 1% (1:100 ratio) Diesel-SHIELD was tested by an accredited laboratory and was found to FULLY comply with current SANS 342/2016 Specifications, as is required for all diesel fuel on offer in South Africa.
- This chemical formulation was specifically engineered to target only H2O molecules in diesel fuel, with the specific aim to: a. the Prevent diesel bug from establishing its presence in diesel tanks. b. Prevent the formation of H2SO4 (Sulphuric Acid) in diesel tanks.
